I am Cheryl Yeo, a Year 2 student of Business Studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Business and Accountancy. I turn 18 this year in August.
I hope to become a successful Entrepreneur and have already begun exploring in this area of work. More information on my entrepreneurial blogshop venture may be found under 'Career'.
Believing in working smart as well as working hard more than being result or education-oriented, I feel that everyone and anyone can be successful as long as they put their heart to working towards their goal.

Work Experiences
I am quite a workaholic and began working in 2005. My first job was at popular toy store, Action City, as a sales assistant.
For the past two years, I have also been constantly involved in the electronic sales exhibitions (IT Fair, PC Show, COMEX, SITEX) held at Suntec City and Expo.
In Dec 2007, I worked for a large shipping company, Panalpina World Transport, for about a month. I had to leave earlier due to the re-opening of school.
Within the one month, I learnt a lot about the office-working society as well as data entry, logistics and how to write corporate emails.
All in all, I've tried all kinds of work from sales to office to F&B, and I think that I am quite ready to take on any challenges that I face in my future endeavours.

Blogshop
Together with my cousin, I set up a blogshop named "Dollswardrobe" in June 2008. We mainly sell clothes, but sometimes have accessories, bags and other items as well.
Through this, I learnt to liase with suppliers and do accounts-related work such as stock-checking and balancing of accounts. We also had to make full use of all our skills such as photo-editing, modelling, trend-forecasting and more.
To increase our sales, we even joined flea markets to sell our stock as well as our own clothes and had pretty good response. Below are some pictures of the events that we have participated in.
